Yousef Mansour (Biography )

It was his involvemen in Chi-Gong under Chinese masters that led to his motion picture debut in 1989, appearing in the first Egyptian or Arabic film to exhibit the martial arts. Since then he has starred in ten action films, as well as “Sweet Market“, a play that ran for a year in Cairo . In 1993, he established Action Film, a production company that has produced the motion pictures he has appeared in since.

He has also directed three of his feature films, "Desert Cat", "Mechanika" and "Badr - Come in Peace" Although Mr. Mansour’s films are rich with martial arts and action his productions are focused on a message relating to family values, justice and peace that he considers an important element of Middle Eastern culture. Additional films are being planned with themes dedicated to building mutual understanding and respect among the peoples of the world. It was his own exposure as a celebrity and association with other high-profile individuals that led Mr. Mansour to establish ESSA in 1992. The security firm has been dedicated to the protection high- profile personnel as well as major hotels. In 1996, Mr. Mansour sold his interests in ESSA, relocating temporarily to Chandler, Arizona where he has been actively working on the formation of VEDEX International INS, the new company will offer a comprehensive set of services and capabilities as global security provider.

The Phoenix, Ariz. Area has been selected for the first VEDEX command center. In addition to serving clients, VEDEX will play a role in helping governments monitor, locate and reduce terrorism, both domestic and international.
